A little further abroad, this market is aptly called a "playground for foodies". You'll also find families, food philistines, first dates, flipping loud music and freakishly diverse representations of cuisine.
Get a little bit of a lot of things.
Spongy, doughy bao bread and crispy, crunch chicken, tied together with a salty, rich gravy.
Filling was salty mass of beef chunks and stewed vegetables that had broken down into delightful mush. The pastry was thin, easy to eat, and fried well. Filling was still a llittle cold in the middle, though.
Definitely an eating experience. The pancakes are very light and airy with a meringue-like filling, but much more eggy and than sweet. The drizzle of matcha cream was also incredibly delicate in flavour and didn't add much sweetness.
